July 2026 Facilitator Team
Water has always been a consistent safe haven and place of reverence and healing, a source of freedom and joy for her. She brings a powerful nurturing, healing presence to all of her work through experiences as a mother, teacher, and trauma navigator.
Daniel Aboulache is a multi-instrumentalist and storyteller. His performances often encourage group participation and movement. Be it through laughter or through tears, through poetry or through silence, the songs we sing will weave us closer together with authentic, raw beauty.
Kristen works at the edges where water meets land, teaching somatic practices for moving through thresholds without losing yourself. Her work bridges water and land-based embodiment, rooted in the experience of being nature, not separate from it, so that depth can be lived rather than visited.
Shannon Sahaja is a yogini, dancer, artist and lover of the earth. With 2 decades of experience as a movement facilitator, Shannon is devoted to inspiring students to experience their own essence through play, spontaneity and nourishment. Shannon offers exquisite facilitation and participants often reflect on how incredibly safe they feel in her field.
She holds a BFA in Dance from S.U.N.Y Purchase, had the good fortune of studying contact improvisation with Nancy Stark Smith, Andrew Harwood, Chris Aiken, Scott Wells, and more….

João's relationship with aquatic therapies and dance begun in 2018 on their first Aguahara training, adding to the life-long study of somatic and spiritual practices that they started in their teenage years in Brazil. They have been on a 20+ year mission facilitating movement, breathwork, meditation, and healing. They are excited and humbled to be in service of the deep whisper of the water medicine in other's hearts: softness, presence, freedom, and play.
